I wrote Hands On The Wheel in late ’74,  it made its debut on Willie Nelson’s Red Headed Stranger album in ’75.  Jerry Jeff Walker cut three different versions of it (all beautiful), Robert Redford used it as the title song in a movie, The Electric Horseman, & Norah Jones released it on DVD, Vinyl & CD  a few years back.  Harry Dean Stanton sang it as the grand finale in the movie of his life Partly Fiction.  Eternal Vision has an incredible version & it goes on.  To date, it’s probably sold over 50 million copies.
