I cut this song on my Columbia Records debut album in ’76 & went on to perform it at Willie Nelson’s Forth of July Picnic of 1976.  Jerry Jeff Walker cut it about that same time or a little before.  This is a revisited version (rewritten a bit), I just can’t help it, besides, I don’t do that stuff anymore!
